Meet Jim Koenen

Born and raised in Burlington, Jim spent most of his career in various finance & accounting positions at S.C. Johnson in Racine, with a brief stint in Switzerland, where he was part of a team consolidating operations in the region. Before retiring in 2018, Jim was VP of Finance & General Manager at Anastasia Beverly Hills, a cosmetics company in the Los Angeles area. He helped facilitate the sale of a minority stake in the company to a private equity firm.

Jim has been married for 40 years to his high school sweetheart Sharon. He has a passion for financial planning and investing. When he is not providing financial counsel for Ugly Duckling, Jim enjoys spending time with his three sons and their families, hiking, biking, reading and traveling to all parts of the world.
